Higher Mapping Solutions have now created a link to the Capita EMS (education system)
- the link has the following functionality:-
- geocoding and relocating addresses
- measuring shortest walking distance
- batch measuring shortest walking distances
- generate a bus route from a series of stops, and display the route with a view to editing
- network management
- selecting the 5 nearest schools
- generate schools and catchment files
The link is split between a user and super user. You will need at least one super-user licence to compile and edit the network and to do the functions that require a map display.
All measurement are done in dynamic segmentation mode which means exact distances between two points on the network are calculated.
