This is a one day course which is run at the client premises. You can have up to three people on the course or add more for a small additional fee.

Event Handlers
The students will learn the different types of handlers used in Mapbasic and how to implement them in a program.
Advance variable usage
Learn how to use the alias variable in a program and how useful it can be MapInfo and ODBC connections
Learn how to create an ODBC connection with your favourite RDBMS
Error Trapping
The importance of error trapping and the use of the technique in program flow control
MapInfo and DDE
The use of Dynamic Data exchange with Microsoft Packages and user programs
MapInfo and DLLs
Using the Windows API to enhance the usability of a program
Pre-requisites
You should have attended the standard Mapbasic course or have at least 6 months experience in developing application with Mapbasic.
